If you are a regular subscriber to our monthly e-newsletter, you have already received an email flyer with the news.  We are bringing two more great services to what we already have to off you and your feet at Austin Foot and Ankle Specialists.  The grand opening of Three Lakes Physical Therapy and Wellness Center along with Mod Pod Shoes are an expansion of the services we can offer your feet and ankles.

We have always promoted physical therapy for a variety of problems with your foot and ankle.  Physical therapy is critical in rehabilitation of ankle injuries and prevention of further problems through improving flexibility and strength.  In the past, we have recommended home therapies to strengthen your ankles.   Post surgical weakness is another area where physical therapy can help bring you back up to your pre-surgical condition preventing problems when you return to your normal activities.  Plantar fasciitis and tendonitis are two other specific problems that often respond well to conservative treatments that involve physical therapy.  No longer will you have to travel for your physical therapy as our Three Lake Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is here to serve you!

The types of shoes we wear everyday have a great impact on the feet we put inside them.  We have cautioned you in certain fad shoes in the past as well as provided recommendations for running shoes that are best for your foot type.  Proper shoe selection for your foot can do a lot to prevent problems and keep your feet comfortable.   With our knowledge of the foot and how it functions, we look to provide you with the best information and guidance in your next pair of footwear.

Feel free to join us on September 19 at Bee Cave Road Suite 202 for our expansion of these two areas that are important part of your foot health.  Additionally, if you are interested in staying up to date with the latest in Austin, Texas foot and ankle health in the future, you can sign up for our monthly newsletter here.  Until next time keep those feet and ankles happy and healthy Austin!
