Can a little toe develop a hammertoe?

Hammertoes can develop on any toe of the foot. Hammertoes that occur in the little toe may look different than others.  Usually the deformities of this digit look as if the toe is curling under the fourth digit or the nail plate is facing toward the outside of the foot.
