Will I be asleep during the surgery?

Most foot and ankle surgery is accomplished with a two types of monitored anesthesia care.  The first is called conscience sedation where an intravenous access is used to administer drugs to make you sleepy. The second is called General anesthesia where a tube or mask will administer gas to render you unconscience.
