Total Joint Replacement for the First Metatarsal

The ReFlexion 1st MPJ Implant System is a unique three-piece implant system for the primary reconstruction of the 1st metatarsal phalangeal joint resulting from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic arthritis or revision of a previous arthroplasty. The implant is designed to achieve three goals: pain relief, superior function and longevity. With a cone in cone implant design, the ReFlexion system provides inherent geometric stability and secures bone to implant seating. Using simplified instrumentation, the implant is placed using a reaming technique to increase implant to cortical wall interface. The ReFlexion System is simple, predictable and effective.

The ReFlexion is indicated for reconstruction of severely disabled and/or painful metatarsal-phalangeal joints resulting from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic arthritis or failure of previous arthroplasty.
